Safety with hot and cooling ashes |
||
|
Hot and cooling ashes can be a fire and carbon monoxide hazard. To ensure safe disposal of stove ash, allow adequate time for cooling after a fire. Also, keep the stove door closed until the ash is cool. Remember to have the correct equipment on hand, like safety gloves. For more detailed information, visit the HETAS Advice Hub.
